On May 3, 2024, at the Grand Center Room of the Universitas Internasional Batam, a significant event took place—the Socialization of Coventry University to the International University of Batam. Led by Ms. Theodesia, the Head of International Relation Office (IRO) of International University of Batam, and attended by the representative from Coventry University, alongside faculty members, the purpose of the gathering was to explore avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.  

The representative from Coventry University delivered a comprehensive presentation, detailing Coventry University’s academic offerings and commitment to excellence. Discussions primarily centered around the establishment of a double degree program and an accelerated master’s program, both met with enthusiasm from both sides. A Q&A session followed, where faculty members sought clarifications on program structures and logistical matters, all of which were addressed satisfactorily by the Conventry University members.  

The meeting concluded with a commitment from both parties to further explore the proposed collaborations, with plans to establish a working group to iron out the details and terms of cooperation. The event ended with optimism, signifying the potential for fruitful collaboration between Coventry University and the Universitas Internasional Batam.
