Nurhayati Balqis, a student majoring in English Education at Universitas Internasional Batam, has been selected as one of the recipients of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) 2024 program. Through this program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Balqis will continue her studies at Belarusian State University, Belarus.

Balqis’s achievement demonstrates her excellence and the University’s commitment to global education. On Friday, March 20, 2024, Theodesia Lady Pratiwi, S.Pd., M.Hum, Head of the UIB International Office, and Leil Badrah Zaki, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the English Language Education Study Program at UIB, congratulated her on this significant achievement by organizing a Departure Ceremony for Students for the Indonesian International Student Mobility Award Program to Belarusian State University, Belarus at the Grand Centre UIB. Balqis’s journey shows that international programs can enrich English education students and provide Universitas Internasional Batam with opportunities to gain global learning experiences.
