The theme of the 1st International Engineering Fest is “Ideas and Creativity of Using Technology Innovatively”. There are six (6) competition categories in the 1st Engineering Festival, namely:

- 3D Modeling Competition
- Artificial Intelligence Competition
- Mobile Application Design Competition
- AWS Jam Competition

International Engineering Fest is a competition in Engineering field for college/university students hosted by Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB)-Indonesia and co-hosted by Kanagawa Institute of Technology-Japan, National University of Kaohsiung-Taiwan, and Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka-Malaysia. There are five (5) competition categories in the 1st International Social, Economics, and Law Fest. In addition, the target participants of this competition are Social, Economics, and Law students, specifically from the field of Management, Accounting, Tourism, Law Science, and Education.
