On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, February 8 – March 1, 2023, the University of International Batam (UIB) and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) proudly announce the successful collaboration in organizing the Final Year Report Writing Workshop: Online Short Course. This event was conducted virtually to enhance students’ skills in writing final-year reports.
The workshop was attended by students from the Civil Engineering Department at both UIB and UTAR. This activity aimed to better understand the final year report writing, which is an integral part of higher education. The students actively participated in the workshop, facilitated by experts in final-year report writing from both universities.
The event commenced at 2 p.m. (Indonesia Time) and 3 p.m. (Malaysia Time) and lasted ten days. The workshop included presentations, discussions, and hands-on practice sessions. The participants were taught about Science and Scientific research, effective report structure, appropriate research methods, and excellent and proper writing techniques. They were also provided with guidance and advice to improve their report-writing skills.
Throughout the event, there were opportunities for participants to interact with the facilitators and fellow attendees through the online platform. They could ask questions, share experiences, and provide feedback to each other. This created a supportive and collaborative environment for participants to learn and grow together in their final report writing year.
The collaboration between UIB and UTAR in organizing this workshop exemplifies the universities’ commitment to enhancing the quality of higher education and expanding cross-institutional cooperation. It also demonstrates the dedication of both universities in supporting students to achieve academic success.
In conclusion, the Final Year Report Writing Workshop: Online Short Course has been successfully conducted. We hope the participants can apply the knowledge and skills gained during the workshop in their final year report writing. We also look forward to the continued collaboration between UIB and UTAR in organizing more beneficial activities for students from both universities.
