Joint Degree

Joint Degree is a program offered by UIB for UIB active students in undergraduate program or postgraduate program. Joint Degree is divided to two, which is:

a. Joint Degree Undergraduate, is an international program offered by UIB for undergraduate students to study for two years at UIB and two more years at UIB International University Partners. The advantages participant will receive from this program is that participant will achieve two diplomas after they graduate from UIB, one from UIB and one from UIB International University Partners. Other than that, Joint Degree participants will have the chance to learn his/her host country’s language and culture well for two years. Till 2016, UIB has partnership in Joint Degree Program in South Korea and People’s Republic of China (PRC). Our university partners that have supported Joint Degree Program are Nanjing Xiaozhuang University at PRC (NXU), Dong A University, Sunmoon University (SMU), Catholic University of Daegu University (CUD), and Jeju University in South Korea.

b. Joint Degree Postgraduate, is an international program offered by UIB for undergraduate students to study for one year at UIB and one more year at UIB International University Partners. This program is one of UIB superior programs which differentiates UIB’s Postgraduate Program with other universities’ postgraduate program, especially in Batam. UIB International University Partner which has supported this program is Youngsan University at South Korea. In 2016, UIB Postgraduate Program in Master of Law has conducted joint degree with Youngsan University (YSU).
